For our lawyer Fabio Lucato, although the culture of organizations regarding the matter of privacy is changing, companies still need to invest more. He points out that companies are being required, in bidding processes, to demonstrate adequacy to the LGPD (General Data Protection Law). He further states, therefore, that said adequacy generates many benefits, such as obtaining public loans. Not surprisingly, Fabio emphasizes, privacy protection was highlighted in a report by the World Economic Forum on risk factors for organizations in 2022.
