It was declared last Sunday the end of the Public Health Emergency in Brazil. For this reason, the newspapers O Globo and Extra heard some specialists in Labor Law, among them our lawyer Michelle Pimenta Dezidério, to analyze the possible consequences of this measure on labor relations.
Michelle pointed out that the end of the state of calamity would change numerous legal parameters in several areas, not only labor. Therefore, it is necessary to wait for the government text defining the deadlines.
She also commented on MP (Provisional Measure) 1.119, arguing that it is still valid, since it "authorizes the adoption of alternative measures to face the social and economic consequences of the state of public calamity.
