Our lawyer Michelle Pimenta Dezidério was invited to contribute to an article by Jornal Extra about a decision by the Superior Labor Court that may make it more difficult to collect labor debts in court. These are, in general, lawsuits in which the main company was convicted and no money or assets were found to settle the debt. Therefore, there was an attempt to include other companies in the same economic group in the process. The case went to the Supreme Court and Minister Gilmar Mendes ruled against it. In the opinion of our labor lawyer, the STF should modulate the matter, providing for ongoing cases, already in execution, and the new ones.
