Before joining Chediak Advogados in 2023, João amassed extensive experience at renowned law firms, practicing in the areas of Litigation and Arbitration, as well as Restructuring and Insolvency. His experience includes both domestic and international arbitrations and judicial proceedings involving corporate law, civil law, insolvency law, construction, energy, and infrastructure, advising clients at all stages of disputes, including the pre-litigation phase.

Additionally, he provides legal counsel to companies, creditors, managers, and shareholders in matters related to corporate insolvency, M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations, and other corporate and contractual matters.

He also has significant experience in regulatory advisory services for stock exchanges, financial market infrastructures, financial institutions, and other market participants, with a focus on issues related to financial and capital markets, particularly in compliance with the regulations of the Brazilian National Financial System and the rules issued by the Brazilian National Monetary Council, the Central Bank of Brazil, and the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).
